saturday

Saturday remains one of my favorite days of the week. Today was the perfect spring day — cool in the morning but warming up, with clear blue skies. The grass is greening up, and blooms are popping out all over. Here’s what my day looked like:

~ I worked at my paying gig in the morning.

~ I worked at home — laundry and some straightening up.

~ I finished my taxes!

~ I cleaned out and vacuumed my car.

~ I freshened up my front walk and front door. As I’ve mentioned, we’re covered up with pollen down here in southwest Georgia, and I stirred some up.

~ Ahhhh….choo!

~ I had my car washed. It will be covered in pollen again tomorrow, I’m sure.

~ I worked on a paper at my favorite coffee shop, sipping a caramel spice latte.

~ I played tourist in my town and wandered around with my camera. Stay tuned for those photos this coming week.

~ Here’s my photo of the day:

~ I went to Walmart but it wasn’t too traumatic this time because I went in the garden center entrance and then checked out there, too, and avoided the long wait at the 3 checkouts they keep open inside the store.

~ I spruced up some plants on my back porch and cleaned off the chairs and table so I can relax out there in just a bit.

~ I’m looking forward to FaceTime with a faraway friend later this evening.

I hope your Saturday has been a good one,

  1. Your Saturday’s are impressively productive! I usually go for a jog when I first get out of bed, but then the rest of the day disappears in mooching around, if I don’t have specific plans. That said, I should stop wandering around in the internet and go do something!

    • Ali, it’s only because I’m working full time during the week that I *must* be productive on Saturdays. And because I really, really want to take a nap on Sunday afternoon. 🙂

so what do you think?
