I’m nearing the end of my 365 photo project, and I really can’t believe that almost an entire year has passed. It’s been a remarkable year for me — a year of adjustments, healing, family, answered prayers, ups and downs.
When Will encouraged me to take on a 365 challenge, I had no idea just how meaningful it would be. I’ve discovered a new hobby and rediscovered my love of creativity and art. I’ve looked at the world with new eyes, noticing details I would normally never see. I have a new appreciation for other photographers’ work, too.
I’m not sure how I’m going to finish the 365 up yet, and I have mixed feelings about seeing it end. One thing I do know: I’m not finished looking at the world through my camera’s lens.
Here are a few of my photos from my project:
I can’t believe it’s almost over! I have enjoyed your photos so much. My 365 days was a similarly wonderful experience for me, too. I still take pictures almost every day, even though the project is long done!
It’s all about what you chooose to frame, isn’t it? (and you could say the same about “habits of the heart”) — That’s the thing that fascinates me about photography.
