As I’ve shared many times, Saturdays are a favorite of mine, especially when they start slow.
Will and Anna are home this weekend, so you know that makes my day already.
This sunny morning, I was still in my pajamas at nearly 10 o’clock, having enjoyed a few cups of tea, read the paper, spent time in the Word, caught up on news, and visited with my son. He came in my room and we just talked about all kinds of stuff, and we looked at some old pictures of him. Sweet, sweet time…
He brought me an overflowing bag of laundry, so I’m spending some time on that.
We made the short drive over to my hometown to see my parents and niece and had lunch at our favorite place there — Mr. Chick. Then Will & Anna picked out flatware and china at the store my dad used to own.
We headed back to Thomasville for coffee downtown and I pulled through the carwash on the way home.
I hauled my camera around today:
Tonight we’re going out to dinner and then celebrating Will’s birthday with a Reese’s cup cheesecake.
