I’ve got all kinds of books in progress, a sort of bibliophile ADD situation. Here are the books I really need to finish:

I started reading Daring Greatly this weekend at the suggestion of my son and after watching her TED talk.

Honestly I’m having trouble with this one. It’s just not holding my attention. I keep picking it up, hoping for a change of heart, but I only read a couple of pages and put it back down. Now I can’t even remember the plot.

It’s taking me months to get through Shame Interrupted. Mainly, I think, because I’m reading it on my iPad and I forget about it.

We’re slowly making our way through Naked Economics at work in our (kind of) weekly staff meetings. It’s pretty good.

I set this one aside sometime last month, and I really need to get back to it.

I’m listening to The Wright Brothers via Audible on my commute.

I started Why We Get Fat ages ago, put it back on the shelf, and then picked it up again last week. It’s interesting, but reading it at bedtime hasn’t been a good idea.

So, what are you reading this summer? Do you have piles of books-in-progress, too?

  1. I’ve got Naomi on my list to read too. I’ve liked all of Wangerin’s books, but they all have been audios. Don’t know if that makes them easier than print or not, but Naomi is only in print. I hope you turn the corner with this one! And McCullough’s new one is on my iPod waiting for me. I love to listen to his voice. 🙂
I’m reading The Girl on the Train right now. and will be so glad when it’s over, then I’m turning to some easy-reading beach books.

so what do you think?
